Susan Guzzetta
Susan has been painting and drawing most of her life. She began studying oil painting as a teenager and later on, spent a semester studying at the Art Students League in New York City while earning her Master’s Degree in English. After living and working overseas for several years in Algeria, Greece, France and Belgium, she returned to Los Angeles and studied for a year with Russian artist Sergei Bongart.Susan enjoys figure drawing at the Door and painting the local landscape. She has won several awards over the years for her figurative work at the annual Nudes in November show at Sorensen’s Studio including a first prize for drawing.
