Suzie Stach

Suzie is a nationally recognized painter of firefighting scenes. Two of her paintings have graced the cover of “Wildfire Magazine”, an international trade magazine, and another on the cover of a national firefighter’s bookstore catalogue. Her painting of the 911 disaster in New York was the program cover for a memorial service at Pelco Inc. in Clovis, CA. And for the past six years she created The Fresno Fire Chief’s Association’s yearly poster for their fundraiser. She sells her fire prints through her web site www.fire-art.com.

Suzie loves Plein Air painting, and is a member of the Tuesday Group in Fresno. Her paintings have won many awards, and hang in private collections as well as public buildings. In April 2007, she received an Honorable Mention in the “Best 100″ competition in the Pastel Journal Magazine. She has been one of the artists chosen to appear in the annual Blood Center Calendar, and has been a long time contributing artist for the “Parties for the Parkway”. You may see her work in Fresno at the Door Gallery, and The Circle Gallery in Madera, as well as her studio in Fresno, CA. She is the past president of the Society of Western Artists (SWA), and past membership Chairperson of the Alliance of California Artists (ACA). Suzie is a signature member of both groups.
