Stephen Austin is a Commercial Artist specializing in Humerous Illustration.  He feels very lucky to have been able to do this for 40 years.  Steve’s lifelong love of drawing, combined with his mechanical ability led to his first cartoon sales with automotive magazines.

Today he enjoys opportunities across a broad spectrum of assignments, from conceptual designs to political caricature.  In his work he utilizes a variety of drawing and painting mediums, including digital.

Steve enjoys traditional Plein Air painting in oils and watercolor.  He gets together with artist friends on a regular basis for informal studio life studies at The Door Art Gallery in Fresno.
