Nancy Smit moved to Fresno in 1969. She began actively
painting when her children left home. Nancy works in all
media and took her art one step further when she became
skilled in mono printing. She is a founding member of
The Door Art Gallery and a member of the Fresno Print
Maker's Guild. Nancy is active with the Fresno Arts Council.
Much of her inspiration for her works is drawn from her
exquisite gardens. In addition to exhibiting her work
at The Door Art Gallery, her work has also been shown
at the Dean's Gallery at CSUF, the Phoebe Conley Art Gallery
at CSUF, the Newman Center and at Rollf's Gallery in Fresno.
